Snowflake Christmas card.

Sometimes you want to quickly make a card. I know we are not at the panic stage yet – but this card can be made very quickly.

To make it I used the new Kaleidoscope Snow background rubber stamp from the latest Creative Expressions release.

To make this I stamped with my Embossing Pad and added white embossing powder. I sprinkled Purple Violet Pixie Powder and sprayed with water to activate the powder. I removed the powder from some of the snow and let it dry.

I made a border by colouring some card with the same Pixie Powder, cut the frame using the Sue Wilson Noble Postage Stamp dies, then layered up – black and the border onto black card. The sentiment was from the new Wordies Festive Sentiments – Christmas Script.

Golden Angel

Today I am sharing a card made using the beautiful Sue Wilson Festive Christmas Angel 2023 from Creative Expression. To make this card I coloured card with Creative Expression Opal Polish Golden Glow to use to cut the wings and dress borders. The angel and background border was cut from cardstock coloured with Pixie Sparkles – Sun Yellow, Lava Red and Burnt Orange.

I then cut a piece of 6.5 x 4.5 Coconut White cardstock and created a border at the lower using the scalloped snowflake border die, which can also be used to create the very fine edge shown on the card cut from mirror card.

I assembled the card and added the sentiment, cut from the same cardstock coloured with the pixie sparkles with the new die Sue Wilson Festive Collection.

Snowy Owls

Have you managed to see any of the new Designer Boutique Festive stamp release from Creative Expressions?

Today I am sharing a card made using 3 cute Snowy Owls.

To make this I first stamped the Owls, stamped again to make a mask, the stamped the branch. I then stamped the snowflakes with white embossing powder and coloured the background with Next I cut the branch and layered onto a piece double sided adhesive sheet covered with Aurora Diamond Frost glitter.

I coloured another sheet of card an cut out a circle aperture, coloured with a stencil (using Violet Haze), and edged again using Violet Haze to give different depths of colour.

I assembled the card and cut hexagon border using double sided adhesive (previously adhered to card). This was then adhered to the card and the other layer of the sheet removed and the sane glitter added. The sentiment from the same stamp set was heat embossed with white embossing powder and small amounts of glitter added to the owls.

Happy Anniversary to the Golfer

I have recently celebrated my 41st Wedding Anniversary and made this card for my husband who is a keen golfer.

To make it I coloured the background with Creative Expressions Pixie Sparkes Cut Grass, and Blue Wish for the Sky.

I then cut a circle aperture and lined up the Jane Gill Mini Pine Branch and stamped to frame the aperture.

I then cut out and coloured the golfer with Copic Markers and printed the sentiment before assembling.
