Will Santa be able to get out of the chimney in time to deliver the rest of the presents? Stamping Bella Santa got stuck is one of my favourite fun santa stamps. Santa was coloured using Promarker pens in reds, greys and skin tones. The fur trim then had a little bit of glitter added to give a bit of sparkle. The image was layered on to a sunrise background made using pinks, reds, blues and yellow distress oxide ink. Sparkle was then added to the small houses and the bottom of the frame to give a snow shine.
I am entering the card in the following challenges:
Are you getting fed up of the snow yet? I am not – it is giving me the opportunity to get down to my favourite job – making cards.
Popped over to the Stamping Bella Sisterhood March Challenge and discovered that it was blooms. I don’t have many bloom stamps (which will soon be changed), so took the chance to use one of my Cool Chicks – with daffodils which should have been starting to bloom but the big bad #beastfromtheeast put paid to that.
Coloured using Promarkers – Buttercup, Gold, Pumpkin, Maroon, Poppy, and Grass coloured with Moss. A little bit of sparkle was added to the daffodils, the edge was cut using MFT Stitched Edges 2 and layered scrap paper was cut to fit the edge.
Stamping Bella Posh Girl has a Present – 60th Birthday Bash
What do you do when you are stuck at home, it is snowing and windy outside and you have a friends birthday coming up? Make a card – well it would be stupid not to take the opportunity to have an extra day to play!
As it was a 60th birthday coming up, I decided to use a stamp I have recently bought – Stamping Bella Posh Girl has a Present. She is just adorable and looks as if she is going to be so much fun. Lots of presents for everyone.
The image was stamped and coloured using the Hero Arts small ink pads – Raspberry Jam, Ultra Pink and Bubble Gum which all work very well together. I then fussy cut her out, added little black spots to her bag using Black Tonic Nuvo Drops. She was layered on to a lattice cut using Sue Wilson Stitched Latticed Frame Die, cut in to an oval using the Tonic Oval dies and which then had a oval layer placed on top which had been coloured using the Ultra Pink ink. Everything was then layered on to black glitter card, with the birthday sentiment printed and layered last.
Another Friday, another Friday Bellarific Challenge. This is my entry for the free for all using stamp and die Santa got Stuck I was lucky enough to win when the stamp was initially launched last year.
Santa was coloured using Promarkers and layered using a MFT Peek-a-boo square.
This is a first for me. I regularly see the amazing Stamping Bella card inspirations made for the Bellarific Friday and I just love autumn. Love the colours, love the smell and love the cold crisp mornings when Jack Frost is about – although he hasn’t visited yet. When I saw the Fall inspiration photo I thought what could I do and this is the result.
I got out my Tiny Towie Best Friends stamps, coloured them using Promarkers – Gold Sunflower, Chilli Red, Lime Green, Pumpkin and Ginger. Once finished I used my glitter pen to add a little bit of sparkle to the wings and skirt.
The background is Nitwits papers, cut using spellbinder squares and layered on to the card.
It has been a while since I have submitted anything and apologise. I have been away on holiday, but admit that I did miss my card making.
Since I came back I have been making a few which I will share with you all shortly. However I am quite pleased with this Clean and Simple card made for a work colleagues birthday.
The stamp was a recent purchase – Stampin Bella Uptown Girl Lucille and coloured in using many purple Promarker pens. The background was just a piece I had lying in the drawer, kept from previous projects “just in case”.
Hope you like the end result as I know I had fun making it.
Slight change for this time of year, but people still have birthdays so cards still have to be made. This card was made for my Sister who has a birthday 3 days before Christmas. With most of the cards away in the shops, I find it is better to make my own.
I just love Opal the Optimist. What are you – glass half empty or glass half full? This is the resulting card – black and pink which make a great combination. Flowers made with Dovecraft punch and the backing of the sentiment from Lili of the Valey, made with a Stamping Up Punch. All coloured with Promarker Pens and stash backing paper.
Don’t you just love Stamping Bella Uptown Girls. They are one of my most favourite stamps, fun, just perfect for any occasion easy to stamp with and so easy to colour.
This card was made using stash paper and flowers made using Tonic Dies and coloured to match the background of the card. Pearls and flower centres were so easy to make using the Tonic Pearls All ready to had to the birthday girl who loves “Fizzy Friday”
One of my favourite stamps at the moment is the Forever My Always made by Stamping Bella. As a couple of oldies dancing away together, I thought that these are the perfect couple to use for a retirement card that I wanted to make for a couple of friends who were retiring when they sold the business that they owned – The Station Hotel in Carnoustie.
This had been made using one of my favourite techniques, inking the background, but masking the area that the couple were going to be placed. Stamping and colouring in the couple, they were cut out and stuck on to the card. The branches were Card-io stamps, with the little flowers stamped to fill in. I thought that it would look perfect that the couple having sold the business were dancing away in the sunset.
As with many of my cards they are made for a specific person in mind. This one was made as I had just received my new Sue Wilson Shadow Box Lattice Die set and was dying to try different way with it. To go with it I stamped and cut out the Stampin Up Bella Uptown Girl Bentley, coloured in with Promarkers and used Nitwits paper to make the skirt.
To make the lattice, I cut it out twice and layered it to create a shadow effect.
For the shadow lattice frame, cut out and layered I cut out white linen card.
