This card was made for my boss at work who was retiring at the end of the year. As she was a cat lover, I thought this would be a fun card to make using the stamp from Mama Elephant – The Cat’s Meow. I stamped it a number of times to make a crowd and coloured suing my Promarkers, then fussy cut. The background was made blending my distress oxides, with water then splashed on to make the dotty background. When assembled, the sentiment was from John Next Door, stamped in white then clear embossed.
You may previously have seen a cad made with the Mama Elephant Cool Penguins stamps.
This set of cards were made with the same technique – Rangers Distress Oxide used to make the backgrounds, hills made with the MFT Stitched Basic Edges dies Peek a Boo Window Circle.

Oh Kitty Tree – who doesn’t love cats at Christmas? This one was made for a cat lover, made using Mama Elephant stamps, which I find stamp so easily with my Misti stamper.
I am really getting in to using the Tim Holtz Distress Oxides too – they can create amazing backgrounds. This one was made using Festive Berries, Abandoned Coral and Picked Raspberry blended together and spritzed with Mica powder to give a sheen.
Cats were all coloured using Promarker Pens in greys and oranges and then clear dots were added uisng Tonic Nuvo Drops.
Don’t you just love the set of Cool Penguins stamp set made by Mama Elephants. I had so much fun making this card.
Penguins were stamped and coloured using Promarkers, whilst the background was coloured using Distress Oxides – Cracked Pistashio; Salty Ocean and Peacock all blended together and left to dry before spraying with Mica Powder to give a soft sparkle to the background.
The hills were cut from MFT and glitter added to give feeling of crisp snow. Everything was layered and the penguins placed using either foam pads or glue depending on how I wanted them to pop up.
