Oh Kitty Tree – who doesn’t love cats at Christmas? This one was made for a cat lover, made using Mama Elephant stamps, which I find stamp so easily with my Misti stamper.
I am really getting in to using the Tim Holtz Distress Oxides too – they can create amazing backgrounds. This one was made using Festive Berries, Abandoned Coral and Picked Raspberry blended together and spritzed with Mica powder to give a sheen.
Cats were all coloured using Promarker Pens in greys and oranges and then clear dots were added uisng Tonic Nuvo Drops.
Today I am sharing a set of cards, made in bulk, using Stampin’ Up Festival of Trees stamp set and a variety of non traditional christmas colours, but the same layout.
The back grounds were made using Stampin’ Up inks and then stamped with a snowflake background stamp and clear embossed. The trees too were stamped using the inks, clear embossed and cut out using the tree punch.
The Peek-a-boo die was MFT which I felt gave the tree just that little bit extra class. The card was assembled, the sentiment stamped and heat embossed then layered in front of the tree.
