Sending Hugs on a Beautiful Day
Hope you all had a happy weekend. I took the opportunity to use my fast becoming set of stamps – Altenew Beautiful Day. I embossed flowers and leaves using Nuvo Tonic white embossing powder which always has excellent results and fast becoming my go to powder. I cut them out and coloured using blue, green and pink water colour pencils.
They were layered on to a circle cut using MFT scalloped circles. To add interest, the inside circle was dotty embossed, everything was then co-ordinated with some blue Nitwits paper blue stash.

Puff the Magic Dragon
I do so love these My Favorite Things (MFT) Magical Dragons. They are sooo cute. I also have recently bought the MFT Diagonal Stripes background stamp which I couldn’t wait to play with as I could see so many uses.
First use – make a baby pink background using Tonic Baby Pink embossing powder which worked really well. I added interest to the background using the Stampin’ Up Grunge stamp, also embossed with the pink.
My little dragon was coloured using Pomarker Pens in shades of pink and purple, then fine glitter added to the horns and wings. This was then cut and layered on to a circle which had also been embossed to match the stripe background. The small tags were made using a rectangle which were cut in half and the plain one had Baby Girl from Hero Arts embossed.

Waiting for Spring – Cool Chicks & Ladybird
Are you getting fed up of the snow yet? I am not – it is giving me the opportunity to get down to my favourite job – making cards.
Popped over to the Stamping Bella Sisterhood March Challenge and discovered that it was blooms. I don’t have many bloom stamps (which will soon be changed), so took the chance to use one of my Cool Chicks – with daffodils which should have been starting to bloom but the big bad #beastfromtheeast put paid to that.
Coloured using Promarkers – Buttercup, Gold, Pumpkin, Maroon, Poppy, and Grass coloured with Moss. A little bit of sparkle was added to the daffodils, the edge was cut using MFT Stitched Edges 2 and layered scrap paper was cut to fit the edge.

Love is in the air
Made this one today as I do believe that Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Using the Sue Wilson Romantic Edger for the first time, I used red and silver card to make the lovely heart border, continued across the layers cut from Tonic layering dies. I also used the Sue Wilson wreath die for the first time to add a little bit of interest in the background.

Warm and Cosy
I love the partner stamp to Penny Black “Snowy” “Santa’s Hat” He is so cute and makes you feel so cozy.
Coloured with my faithful Promarkers, hat fur filled with Tonic Nuvo Glitter and fussy cut (as I don’t yet have the die) he was layered on to a frame.
I would like to enter the PaperPlayers Challenge PP371 Clean and Simple Warm and Cozy, along with the Passion for Promarkers Challenge 422 It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
Santa got Stuck
Another Friday, another Friday Bellarific Challenge. This is my entry for the free for all using stamp and die Santa got Stuck I was lucky enough to win when the stamp was initially launched last year.
Santa was coloured using Promarkers and layered using a MFT Peek-a-boo square.
CAS Stamping Bella
It has been a while since I have submitted anything and apologise. I have been away on holiday, but admit that I did miss my card making.
Since I came back I have been making a few which I will share with you all shortly. However I am quite pleased with this Clean and Simple card made for a work colleagues birthday.
The stamp was a recent purchase – Stampin Bella Uptown Girl Lucille and coloured in using many purple Promarker pens. The background was just a piece I had lying in the drawer, kept from previous projects “just in case”.
Hope you like the end result as I know I had fun making it.
