Purple is not just for Halloween – it can be used any time of the year and for any type of card. Using the colours inspired by Halloween, I used my Concord & 9th Dahlia Turnaround stamp. Colours used were lime, orange, heliotrope and pineapple punch, whilst the sentiment stamped using Concord Crush. The two background layers were coloured with the inks Concord Crush and Orange to match the card. Still haven’t got the hang of it being lined up perfectly, but it is fun practicing.
The card will be entered in the following challenge:
Seven Hills October Challenge – Halloween
Is is just me that is addicted to using the wreath builder template? Whenever I look at stamp sets now, I look and think can I use these on a wreath style card?
This card was made using the Gina K Designs stamp – Fabulous Flowers set, I stamped using Versacolour pigment ink to try and get some deeper purple colour as I as struggling to get a really deep purple ink that I really like. Stamped and layered the flowers then used Tonic clear embossing powder to give a lift to the sentiment and circle. The matching layered card was made justing colouring white card with the inks used in the stamping.
