Butterfly Garden
I am not one for using just an embossing folder to make a card. However in this case you can do just that. Creative Expressions have released a fantastic set of 3D embossing folders which can be used to make a quick but stunning card.
To make this one I used the Butterfly Garden and inked up the smooth side of the embossing folder with white pigment ink, cut a piece of Iris Foundation card 6.5 x 6.5″ then ran it through the die cutting machine. Next I ran distress oxide ink – Wilted Violet over the raise areas of the card.
I then cut the aperture in a piece of Iris cardstock using the Pierced Square Noble dies and assembled using Cosmic Shimmer glue, added a few silver accents and the sentiments were from the Wordies.
I am entering in the following challenges:
- Make My Monday: #194 All Creatures Great and Small
- Lil Patch of Crafty Friends: #200 – Anything Goes
- AllSorts: #716 – Anything Goes – Option Wings
- Can you handle the Pressure?: Anything Goes with a Twist of Hearts
- Polkadoodles: Week 7 – Anything Goes
- Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge: Emboss it
- Bizzy Becs Store: February
A really lovely finish using the embossing folder, many thanks for sharing with us at Allsorts challenge this week and adding the Wings option.
