First for the year

First for the year

I am sharing the first birthday card for the year with you, using,  one of my favourite Lili of the Valley, LOTV stamps – Playing Golf. If you look at some of my past blogs, you will begin to understand why it is such a popular stamp.

I began by colouring in with Promarkers, framed it with paper which is meant to resemble grass – if you look close enough you can see small blades of grass. I then decided to try something new and layered the image onto a background which included a cut off from the cellophane used to wrap bouquets. Crafters never throw anything away!

As this is a first for this year, I am entering the card in the Lili of the Valley Facebook Challenge – Something New. I also wish to enter it in the Passion for Promarkers Challenge – Masculine and Paper Creator’s Crafts – Anything Goes

As an update, this card made the Top 5 in the Passion for Promarkers challenge.
