Warm and Cosy
I love the partner stamp to Penny Black “Snowy” “Santa’s Hat” He is so cute and makes you feel so cozy.
Coloured with my faithful Promarkers, hat fur filled with Tonic Nuvo Glitter and fussy cut (as I don’t yet have the die) he was layered on to a frame.
I would like to enter the PaperPlayers Challenge PP371 Clean and Simple Warm and Cozy, along with the Passion for Promarkers Challenge 422 It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
Snowy for Christmas
I just love Penny Black ‘Snowy’ don’t you. He is so cute and can be used in so many ways. This time I decided that it was going to be a production line and make a number of small cute simple cards for Christmas, the same but different. Stamped, die cut out, then they were coloured with red, green and purple promarkers, layered onto card and Tonic Nuvo glitter hats.
Hope you like them. I am going to enter in the Passion for Promarker Challenge #420 – Use your die cuts
Cuddling with Ted LOTV
Do you ever find that you see cards made by others and think Wow, I would like to make a similar card, buy the stamp and in doing so forget about all the other lovely stamps that you have bought over the years – many no longer on trend.
So I would like to say thank you Lili of the Valley for encouraging me to look at my old stamp stash to dig out poor stamps which have been hiding at the bottom of my stamp pile. This month their Facebook Challenge is the first stamp that we have bought. As I had used Promarkers to colour the image, I thought I would use the opportunity to enter into another Challenge over at Passion for Promarkers.
Therefore, as it is coming up for Christmas, and I am in the process of making Christmas cards, I thought I would use a stamp I have had for a long time – Cuddling with Ted. to enter in to the challenge. It was coloured using Promarkers – different shades of purple and blue, layered with an oval Sue Wilson Christmas die. Snowflakes were Penny Black Snowy die cut out and covered with Tonic Nuvo ice white glitter and stuck on randomly.
Baby Hammock for Mia
This was a card that I made a number of years ago when I had just taken up card making and using all different techniques I could find. I was like a kid in a sweet shop buying this and that, looking on line for inspiration and buying again, until I finally started making cards. My Sister asked me to make one for her friends who had just become Grandparents. I made the background paper using a Gelli Printing Plate and acrylic paints. I then stamped using the Penny Black Baby Hammock onto a square cut using Tonic Dies any layered on to purple card. The Hedgehog was coloured in using water colour crayons, extra flowers, bows and teddy were coloured, cut out and layerd to give a send of height.
The sentiment was printed and layered on to card and handed over.
