Thank you card
This time of year many of us receive a lot of lovely presents. However, I am not sure if it is the same with others, but I find that man people now tend to send text or private message thank you messages for their gifts and that the art of sending thank you cards is slowly dying out. I do believe that if someone has taken the time to select, buy and send a present, the least you could do is send a thank you card to express your gratitude at receiving the present. This year, my cards are all made, written and posted. Below is the example I made, all with a slight difference, but basically the same design.
The flowers were coloured using Altenew Water Colour paints which I am getting to really love. Colours were Pink Diamond, Puffy Heart, Purple Wine and Cosmic Berry. The leaves were coloured using a mixture of Bamboo and Forest Glades. I then flicked some of Bamboo ink on the paper, but will use a darker colour next time a it was very pale when it dried.
The card was then layered on to grey card stock and the sentiment stamped with the same white embossing powder using a stamp from W9Plus Fresh Cut Florals. Clear drops were added again using my Tonic Drops.
